A rustic setting, but TOP boasts some of the most beautiful views around! Most couples choose the meadow for their wedding site and often include a night of camping at the nearby campsites. We also offer an enclosed pavilion structure (heated, with electricity, flush toilets, and newly renovated catering prep kitchen) for indoor celebrations.
Reserve your special day
Step 1: Check the Calendar and make sure the date(s) you want are available.
Step 5: Print out, sign and scan the TOP Indemnification Form (or you can fill it out on your computer; it is an interactive PDF form). Email signed form to [email protected].
Step 6: For weddings of any size: Request a Certificate of Liability Insurance (for $1 million in coverage) from your insurance company. Please name County of Ouray, Ouray County and TOP, Inc. 1035 Highland Drive, Ridgway, Colorado as Additional Insured Parties. Email to: [email protected]. Step 7: Check the fees below and click the PAY NOW button on this page to make a payment with your credit card.
Rental Fees
TOP is available for wedding reservations and other special events from May 15-Oct. 15.
We have two options for weddings at Top of the Pines:
Most commonly, we book our wedding rental package which includes exclusive use of the tent campground and newly renovated pavilion & catering prep kitchen. The fee covers three days and two nights (12:00 noon on the first day to 12:00 noon on the third day) to allow for setup the day before the wedding, and take-down the day after the wedding, if required.
Rental Fee: The rental fee is $3,000. We also require a $500 damage/cleaning deposit which will be refunded after the wedding (minus a 3% processing fee) if no damage and/or need for additional cleanup occurs.
Payment terms: Full payment ($3,500) is due at the time of reservation. We cannot hold your date until we receive full payment.
Refund terms: Full refund minus a 10% cancellation fee up until four months before the reservation date, after which no refund will be offered.
Looking to host an intimate week-day wedding with less than 50 guests? We also offer a single day wedding rental that is only available Monday-Thursday for parties of 50 or less. This option includes the meadow and pavilion from 8am - 6pm for which set up and clean up are confined to.
Rental Fee: The rental fee is $1,000. We also require a $250 damage/cleaning deposit which will be refunded after the wedding (minus a 3% processing fee) if no damage and/or need for additional cleanup occurs.
Payment terms: Full payment ($1,250) is due at the time of reservation. We cannot hold your date until we receive full payment.
Refund terms: Full refund minus a 10% cancellation fee up until four months before the reservation date, after which no refund will be offered.

Disclaimer: TOP is a multi-use facility. There may be other educational or recreational groups and/or individuals who come and go during the time of your reservation for hiking, biking, disc golf, educational outings, etc.
